Learn about this tool
Cropping PDF margins removes excess white space around the content on each page. The tool is suitable for scanned documents with wide paper borders or files exported from software that still has large margins. After you select a PDF file, the tool automatically detects the content area without requiring you to enter coordinates or drag a crop box. The resulting pages are tidier to read and make better use of the paper when printing.
The crop area is automatically detected, so you need to carefully check pages with notes close to the edge, page numbers far from the main content, or light backgrounds. The tool only changes the page display frame, it does not allow manual adjustment of each edge. If the layout varies significantly between pages, review the entire result file to ensure that headers, footers, and marks near the edge are still complete.

Shrink large borders so the content takes up more space on the screen.
Reduce unnecessary gaps before arranging multiple pages on one sheet.

Frequently asked questions
No. The current interface automatically detects and removes whitespace around the content, and there is no input field for each side. If the task requires margins that meet printing specifications, you should use professional page layout software after processing or keep the original to set size and margins according to the standard.
Parts outside the crop area may not appear in the result. Therefore, text, page numbers, or notes close to the edge may be hidden from the page frame. Please check pages with unusual layouts before use and always keep the source file. The tool creates a new result, not suitable for deciding which content needs to be deleted.
Shadows from the book spine, smudges, lines, or uneven background may be considered content, causing the tool to retain part of the border. With such a scan, cleaning the source image or rescanning on a bright background usually gives more reasonable crop areas. The tool does not have individual frame adjustments for each page.
