Learn about this tool
The Word to ODT conversion tool accepts a DOC or DOCX file up to 256 MB and creates an OpenDocument Text document. Because the process involves generating an intermediate PDF before creating the ODT, the layout may differ more from the original Word version than when opened directly with LibreOffice.
The output file is suitable for further editing and may not look exactly like the original. You should check tables, the table of contents, headers, and text boxes. Macros in Word are not transferred to ODT.
