What is rearrange PDF pages?

Reordering PDF pages helps you fix scanned documents that are out of order or create a new reading sequence without having to split the document into multiple files. After uploading a PDF, enter the new page sequence, such as 3,1,2,4-6. The result will take the pages in the exact order you entered, allowing you to place the cover, table of contents, or appendix in the correct position.

The tool uses a number input box instead of dragging each thumbnail individually. This method is fast when the document order has a clear pattern, but you need to carefully check for repeated or missing numbers. The preview helps to verify the content of each page. For long documents, prepare the sequence string externally and then paste it to avoid mistakes when editing midway.

Tips for using Reorder pages

The "New page order" box accepts lists of numbers and page ranges but does not support dragging and dropping thumbnails.
Please enter the full sequence to keep. Pages not appearing in the string may be excluded from the result.
Check for duplicate numbers if you do not intend to repeat a page in the output document.
Rotating the equipment backwards is a separate operation. Changing positions does not automatically adjust the display orientation of the page.
Each job accepts up to 1 files, with a total size limit of 256 MB.

Questions about Reorder pages

How do you move page 3 to the top of the document?

Start the sequence numbering at 3, then list the remaining pages in the desired order. For example, with a ten-page document, you can enter 3,1-2,4-10. Replace the last number with the actual last page of the file. The preview helps you confirm that the page to be moved is in the third position in the PDF, not just labeled as 3 in the content.

If a number is omitted from the sequence list, will that page still exist?

The sorting mode generates results from the list of pages you enter, so pages not listed may be excluded from the new document. If you only want to change a few positions while keeping all the content, you need to enter the remaining pages as well. For long files, make a list and go through from the first page to the last page before processing.

Does the tool automatically detect scanned pages that are misordered?

No. The tool does not read content to infer which page comes before or after. You must enter the order using page numbers. Use titles, item numbers, consecutive sentences, and page print numbers to determine the sequence. If many pages look the same, it is advisable to open the original file side by side to avoid misordering.

How long are files stored?

Access expires after one hour and cleanup runs every five minutes. Download any results you need before they expire.
